Generally, the medini task management component offers a user friendly interface for work organization, team coordination, issue tracking, scheduling, reviewing and further related activities.
The task information (tasks) itself is stored in a task repository. This repository can either be a local private repository (means that the tasks are only visible to the current user on his local machine) or it can be server based public (means that the tasks can be accessed by all people who have access to the server). The administration of such a server task repository is not part of medini analyze. To connect to a server side repository a specific connector is necessary. medini analyze is shipped with connectors to bugzilla and trac repositories. For other repository connectors please refer to https://wiki.eclipse.org/Mylyn/Extensions
Each project can have a single server side task repository attached. It is not foreseen to attach multiple repositories to a single project at the same time. By default one private local repository exists within a workspace. Nonetheless, it is managed separately from the medini analyze projects which are also stored in the workspace.
The implementation of the medini analyze task management is based on MyLyn http://www.eclipse.org/mylyn/ For specific help on MyLyn please refer to the MyLyn help pages.
