17.6. Element Relationships

medini analyze keeps track of various relations between elements. Relations include traces as generic concept for traceability and dedicated relations with specific semantics evaluated by the tool. Such relations are either established manually or results of activities like the selection of a safety goal at the end of a risk estimation of a certain hazard in the hazard list. In order to allow an easy navigation among elements and to identify the relations of an element quickly, for each element a "Related elements" context menu entry is provided. Click the right mouse button either on an element in the model browser or to an element on a diagram to access this sub-menu. Depending on the kind of the element, a sub-menu appears that shows the relations of the element to other elements by relation kind.

Note, that some relations may appear both in a specific relationship kind and in the trace relationship kind.
