medini analyze supports dedicated extensions for the various industry sectors by means of safety domain profiles. These profiles provide tailorings and additions to the tool for industry specific behaviour and terminology such as ISO 26262, IEC 61508, or ARP 4754A/ARP 4761. For example, certain attributes such as the ASIL of ISO 26262 will only appear in an Automotive project, DAL in an Aerospace project, and so on. Moreover, the UI features and naming will adapt according to the safety domain. The available safety domain profiles are continously extended and their specific extensions are described in the following subsections.
Each project receives its domain upon creation. Note that medini analyze can handle projects of different nature in the same workspace and will dynamically adjust the views and editors dependent on the safety domain profile of the project and its content.
If your safety standard is not supported by means of a dedicated domain profile, you can use the tool in a "domain neutral" fashion and use all the generic model-driven safety analysis capabilities. Please refer to
