You can exchange an ACP composite model with the LS-DYNA application in four ways:
LS-DYNA (Extension Library): Converts a Workbench model, including composite definitions, to an LS-DYNA model. For a full example, see ACP for Workbench LS-DYNA: Bird Strike in the ACP User's Guide.
Shell Model Export to LS-DYNA: Exports the shell model in LS-DYNA keyword (*.k) file format. For more information, see Export to the LS-DYNA Application.
Solid Model Export to LS-DYNA: Exports the solid model in LS-DYNA keyword (*.k) file format. For more information, see Export to the LS-DYNA Application.
LS-DYNA Interface (ACP Add-on): Imports a mesh from an LS-DYNA keyword (*.k) file. Available only in standalone mode.
Note: Supported LS-DYNA keywords differ between the Workbench LS-DYNA integration and direct export from ACP to LS-DYNA keyword (*.k) files.
