The following performance related enhancements were implemented for Release 2025 R2:
Input File Creation. Enhancements have been made to improve the performance of input file creation. The application now implements compact formats to write the CMBLOCK and EBLOCK commands. As a result:
The input file is now generated significantly faster. For some larger models, it has been observed that this process can be up to 45% faster than the previous release.
The generated file is dramatically smaller in size. This is especially true for large models, for which the input file size may be up to 67% smaller compared to the previous release.
Importing NASTRAN Files using External Model . Now, when importing NASTRAN files from External Model, the application parses files faster, but more significantly, the time it takes to load finite element file data into Mechanical is as much as 60% faster compared to previous releases.
