Internal Fans

Internal (or 3D) fans simulate the effect of an axial fan by applying a distributed momentum source to a body within a fluid region. The source is defined by the following equation:

S_a=ΔP(Q)/h

Where ΔP is the pressure rise across the fan for a given axial flow rate, Q, and h is the thickness of the fan body.
