Set up the co-simulation using a Co-Simulator object.
The Co-Simulation object has the following details:
- Interface Type
Choose or as appropriate.
- FMI Version
If using the interface type, select version or .
- Interface Time Step
Time step used for co-simulation with Matlab and FMI 2.0.
- Model Description
Text used by FMI.
- Signal Input
List of Signal Input objects to use.
- Signal Output
List of Signal Output objects to use.
You may also add a description for each Signal Input and Signal Output.
- Maximum Step Size factor
You can change the level of the maximum step size before co-simulation using this parameter (see Maximum Step Size Factor in the Motion Preprocessor User Guide).
Max. step size = Interface time step * Maximum step size factor- Level of The Solver Message
You can change the message level before co-simulation using this parameter, as follows:
: None - No messages regarding co-simulation are written
: Partial - Only co-simulation progress is recorded
: Full - All messages regarding co-simulation are written
