1.3.2. Database Navigator

The Database Navigator shows the list of imported DFR files and their solutions as shown in the figure and table below.

Content	Description
DFR	Shows the DFR file name.
Solution	Use to show the solution type in the DFR file. Solutions of types Dynamics and Eigenvalue are supported. A Dynamics solution is the result set of statics, dynamics, and kinematics analysis. An Eigenvalue solution is the result set of an eigenvalue analysis.
Refresh	Use to refresh the selected DFR file in Database Navigator.
Remove	Use to remove the selected DFR file in Database Navigator.
Animation View	Use to create a new animation view for the selected solution.

1.3.2.1. DFR Properties

When the DFR file is selected in the Database Navigator, its properties will be shown in the Properties panel as below.

Misc	File Path	Shows the DFR file path and name.

1.3.2.2. Solution Properties

When Dynamic and Eigenvalue solutions are selected in the Database Navigator, their respective properties will be displayed as shown in the tables below.

Frame

Use to set the number of loaded animation frames. Several methods are supported to determine the number of loaded animation frames as shown below.

Full Frames - Use to load all frames in the result file.
Frame Range - Use to load a subset of frames by defining start and end frames for the sequence.
Frames - Use to set the maximum number of frames. The number of loaded frames cannot exceed this value and the interval will be calculated automatically.
Skip by - Use to determine the interval of loaded frames.

Fatigue

Use to set the results file for fatigue analysis. The fatigue contour of the solution will be displayed using the selected file.

Misc	Time	Use to set the time for eigenvalue result. The mode shape and natural frequency of the defined time will be displayed in the animation view.
