Create a Coordinate System for transmission error calculation for the driving and driven gears as follows:
Expand the Model branch in the Project tree and right-click Coordinate Systems
From the menu, select and then .
In the Details panel, under Origin, set Define By to
Global Coordinates.Define two sets of Coordinate Systems as shown in the table below:
Name Origin Directional Vector X(mm) Y(mm) Z(mm) X Axis Y Axis Z Axis Driving_CM0300{1,0,0}{0,1,0}{0,0,1}Driven_CM75300{1,0,0}{0,1,0}{0,0,1}
Create a user-defined Marker for driving gear body as follows:
Select the Motion branch in the Project tree.
In the Motion ribbon, select and then .
Rename the new object as
Marker_Driving.In the Details panel, under Scope, set the Scoping Method to
Geometry Selection.Using the selection tool (CTRL+B), select the body of the driving gear object (see below).

In the Details panel, under Scope, click in the Geometry field.
In the Details panel, under Definition, set the Coordinate System to
Driving_CM(see below).
