Coordinate systems defined when geometry is imported from DesignModeler, Creo Parametric, or SOLIDWORKS will automatically be created in the Mechanical application. If you update the model in the Mechanical application, coordinate systems from these products are refreshed, or newly defined coordinate systems in these products are added to the model.

If a coordinate system was brought in from one of these products but changed in the Mechanical application, the change will not be reflected on an update. Upon an update, a coordinate system that originated from DesignModeler, Creo Parametric, or SOLIDWORKS will be re-inserted into the object tree. The coordinate system that was modified in the Mechanical application will also be in the tree.
