Saving a Project File

To create a project file and folder, save the project.

To save the project:

  1. Select one of the following options:

    • To save the current project, from the menu bar, select File > Save or from the main toolbar, click  .

    • To save the current project under a different name or location, from the menu bar, select File > Save As or from the main toolbar, click  .

  2. If prompted:

    1. Browse to the location where you want to save the file.

      Note:  Ansys recommends saving the project to a local drive rather than a network drive due to performance reasons.

    2. Type a name for the project.

    3. Click Save.
