You can select a file from the Files list and open the operating system's file manager to the folder containing that file. In most cases, you should not edit, add, or delete a file from the operating system file manager. Workbench does not recognize or is aware of any changes that you make directly in the file system (such as adding or removing a file). However, if used with caution, this pane can be a useful way to edit files such as application input files (for example, the Mechanical APDL application input files).

To open the folder containing project files, right-click a cell and select Open Containing Folder from the context menu.
