The Granta MI system launches Granta MI Materials Gateway, an application that can be embedded in a variety of CAD and CAE environments, allowing you to directly access your company’s Granta MI database. You can then search and browse the Granta MI database, find materials, view their datasheets, choose applicable CAE materials models, and then import these models directly to Ansys projects, complete with full traceability information.

To work through a Granta MI system:
1. To add a Granta MI component system, drag the system from the Toolbox to the Project Schematic or double-click the system in the Toolbox.
Right-click the MI Materials Gateway cell and select from the context menu.
