Set values for the incomplete Solution Control settings.
Click the Solution Control branch.
Corresponding settings are shown below in the Properties pane.
Leave Duration Option set to End Time.
For End Time, type in
0.01.The end time is the same as the Transient Structural system's time duration. This duration provides enough time to show the valve going through a full open-close cycle.
For Time Step Size, type in
0.0001.This time step size is small enough to detail the valve plate's oscillations to a reasonable degree.
For Maximum Iterations, keep
5.For transient analyses, more than five coupling iterations are rarely necessary and can incur unnecessary computational effort in both solvers.
Note: These settings will override the transient settings defined in the participant products.
