This steady electromagnetic-thermal tutorial is based on a permanent magnet electric motor co-simulation with two-way 2D-3D data transfers. In this co-simulation:
Maxwell performs a 2D transient electromagnetic solution. However, the solution values sent to System Coupling are time-averaged over the duration of the Maxwell simulation.
Fluent performs a 3D steady thermal solution.
System Coupling coordinates the simultaneous execution of their solvers and the data transfers between their regions.
Data are transferred between planar surface (Maxwell) and volume (Fluent) topologies.
Set up and run the co-simulation as described in the following sections:

- Create the Co-Simulation
- Solve the Co-Simulation
- Postprocess System Coupling's Results
