Modifying Document Properties

  1. Select the top-level design or a component in the Structure tree.
    You can hold Ctrl and select more than one component.
  2. In the Properties panel, expand Document properties to display the following information

    • Display Name: If you want the name to be different than the file name.

    • Document Path: Path to the file on disk.

    • Locked: Set this to true if you want to prevent the model from being modified.

    • Use File Name: Set this to True if you want to display the file name for the top level design component in the Structure tree. Set this to False if you want to use the Display Name.

  3. Enter additional information such as Creator, Description, Title, and Version in the File section of the Properties panel.
    These properties can be included in BOM tables.
