Progress State

States of a system or node are shown in the optiSLang user interface. The following states are possible.

StateGraphicDescription
IdleN/AThe node or system has not been run yet.
Running

A node or system that is currently running shows a pulse beat and displays the icon next to the progress bar on top of a system or at the bottom of a node.

If the calculation was interrupted by pressing pause ( ), the pulse beat disappears until computations resume. You cannot modify the project if a system is paused.

Succeeded A node or system that ran successfully appears green and displays the icon next to the progress bar on top of a system or at the bottom of a node.
Failed A node or system that failed when run appears red and displays the icon next to the progress bar on top of a system or at the bottom of a node.
Skipped A node that was skipped when the project ran appears green and displays the icon at the bottom of a node. This can happen if the predecessor node was not successful or if the execution conditions have not been met.
Mixed Succeeded/Skipped A node that ran partially successful with skipped designs appears green and displays the icon at the bottom of a node. Some designs ran successfully, some were skipped.
Mixed Succeeded/Failed A node that ran partially successful with failed designs appears red and displays the icon at the bottom of a node. Some designs ran successfully, some were failed.
Aborted A node or system that has been stopped displays the icon next to the progress bar on top of a system or at the bottom of a node.
Check Failed A node or system that was checked, but the check failed appears yellow and displays the icon next to the progress bar on top of a system or at the bottom of a node.
Modified A node or system that has been modified (for example, parameters or settings) and must be updated displays the icon next to the progress bar on top of a system or at the bottom of a node.

Tooltips

A tooltip on the icon provides the following information:

  • Respective numbers of designs (total, complete, pending, skipped, succeeded)

  • Number of iterations
