E.2. Reduced Mechanisms for Gasoline SI Engine Applications

Three chemistry sets are included for gasoline spark-ignition (SI) engine applications. These cover both GDI and traditional (port-injected) gasoline SI engines. One of the mechanisms can also be used for gasoline/ethanol HCCI engines. The following flowchart summarizes the applicability of the three mechanisms:
