Ansys Forte support for Intel MPI is detailed in the the
Platform Support section of the
Ansys Website. The Intel MPI version may change with each release and additional MPI versions may
become available in future releases. This supported version of the Intel MPI software is provided
in runtime form within the Ansys version-specific installation area and you should not need to separately install it. By default, the Forte
Simulate User Interface and Command Line Interface generate script files for both local use and
cluster use that set the PATH and other environment variables required to
use the provided version of Intel MPI. No other versions of MPI are currently supported by
Forte.
