16.6. Thermoelasticity Model

The structural model allows you to perform thermoelasticity analyses, in order to simulate the effects of thermal load on solid structure deformation.

Note that thermal effects are only available for the linear or nonlinear structural model if the energy equation is enabled. Setting up the intrinsic FSI simulation is described in Modeling Fluid-Structure Interaction (FSI) Within Fluent in the Fluent User's Guide of the Fluent User's Guide.
