In a sequence with OptiGrid, the mesh adaptation will run on the current step grid and solution (airflow, droplet, combined), and write an adapted grid.
Note: ADAPT-FENSAP-DROP3D will enable the combined solution output, DROP3D will write a droplet with air solution file, which contains both droplet and air solution. This file will be used as input by OptiGrid, enabling the adaptation to use fields from both airflow and droplet solver in multi-scalar adaptation. The interpolated solution produced by OptiGrid also contains all datafields, and will be used in the subsequent FENSAP and DROP3D restarts.

DROP3D solution fields: DRUU, DRVV, DRWW (Droplet velocity), DRVF (LWC), BETA (Collection efficiency).
