Changing a Beam Orientation

  1. From the ribbon in the Prepare tab, select Orient.
    Discovery displays an Orient widget on the endpoint of the selected beam.
  2. Change the orientation of the beam in the following ways:
    • Select and drag the blue arrow to rotate the beam.
    • Double click the arrow to rotate 90° clockwise.
    • Drag the green or red arrows to translate the Beam. You can translate away from the curve.
    • To allow for precise movements, press the space bar while dragging to set the focus to the dimension.

    • Orient the beam to an object using the Orient to object tool in the HUD.
