Protected Depth Tool Guides
The following tool guides are available for protected depth:
| Accept | Click Accept after selecting additional faces to be protected during optimization and entering a protected distance value. You do not have to select this option to define the default distance around which loads and supports are protected; that value is applied in the Physics tree and is also available when you activate the Protected Depth HUD. |
Protected Depth Tool Options
The following tool options are available for protected depth:

By default, this option defines the distance surrounding applied conditions to be protected during optimization. This default distance is displayed in the Physics tree. When you select additional faces you want protected, enter a value for the protected distance surrounding those faces. |
