Example 3: Working with Foundation

  1. The Foundation button initiates the creation of a base environment for generating heat sink examples. This button illustrates the execution of a script within the Extension Builder to accomplish a specific task and it does not require any user input. Note that once the Foundation button has been executed, it cannot be rerun within the current session and is disabled.

  2. In the Extension Panel, you can click Foundation to view the associated script. The Foundation script utilizes functions from the GeomHelper.py reference script, accessible by double-clicking it at the top of the Extension Panel. Additionally, a second reference script, Calculations.py, is included to provide calculations used by the extension.
