Listed below are the known limitations of the Multiphase Reactor model in this release of Ansys Chemkin.
Multiple surface materials are not allowed. Only one MATERIAL definition can be used in a multiphase kinetics input. This material may involve any number of bulk phases.
Only ideal-gas equation of state is supported for the gas phase.
Functionalities including rate of progress and sensitivity analysis, and the Reaction Path Analyzer, are not available.
User-programing the reactor volume, that is, providing Volume as a function of time through a subroutine, is not available.
The Multiphase Reactor is not available for use with mechanism reduction in Reaction Workbench.
Certain derived quantities, such as mixture enthalpy reported by the post-processor, may not reflect the contributions of bulk-liquid species.
