Chapter 66: Sintering Simulation of a Printed Bridge

This example problem simulates the sintering process of a printed bridge using a sintering material model. The simulation illustrates the shrinkage that occurs during the sintering process in binder jetting-metal additive manufacturing (BJ-MAM).

Binder jetting uses a liquid-based binding agent to selectively join material in a powder bed. It can be used to manufacture parts with complex shapes from a variety of materials at high speeds.
