68.5. Boundary Conditions and Loading

The simulation is modeled as a static problem with a single load step.

The model is first constrained by applying boundary conditions to the billet and rigid line. All nodes on the billet at the axis of symmetry are constrained to deform in the radial direction. All degrees of freedom in the rigid line elements are constrained in all directions.

The billet is loaded with a fluid pressure on the surface elements by applying a fluid-penetration load (SFE with LKEY = 1):

lsel,s,line,,4,5 ! Select line number 4 and 5
nsll
esln
esel,r,ename,,172 ! Reselect only contact 172 elements
sfe,all,1,pres, ,65 ! Apply fluid pressure

The default (program-selected) fluid-penetration starting point is used.
