21.4. Material Properties

The cylinder, rings and plates are made of 2024-T3 sheet aluminum alloy and have the following material properties (according to AMS 4037 property data):

The plastic part of the material is modeled using the von Mises yield criteria coupled with an isotropic hardening (TB,PLAS,,,,BISO), described by a bilinear stress-strain curve with the following constants:[a]
