For which type of sounds the Psycho module should be used

The Psychoacoustics module allows you to study the following types of sound.

• Stationary sounds whose spectral characteristics do not vary over time, like rotating machine, ventilation system, engine noise at constant RPM.

• Non-stationary sounds that vary over time, like speech signals, engine noise with varying RPM, pass-by noise, and so on.

• Impulse sounds that are brief (less than 500 ms), such as sounds from mouse clicks, car door closing, walking steps, etc.
