CAN Mode

The CAN mode enables you to feed Ansys Sound: ASDforEV with external driving parameters coming from the internal bus of a vehicle (for instance CAN bus), a driving simulator, or any other source.

If you are using a DS-CAN2 device to get data from the CAN bus of a vehicle, a dedicated standalone application is proposed to configure the connection with the CAN bus: Ansys Sound: CAN reader for ASDforEV. For more information, see Ansys Sound: ASDforEV CAN Reader User's Guide.

In any other case, the data must be sent to Ansys Sound: ASDforEV via the UDP protocol, and formatted following ASDforEV’s external parameters API, see Ansys Sound: ASDforEV API Documentation.
