Parameters of an Advanced Scattering Surface

At least two wavelengths and to incidence angles must be defined.

For each wavelength and each incidence, define the following ten parameters:

  • In reflection:

    • Specular reflection in percent,

    • Lambertian diffusion around reflected ray in percent,

    • Gaussian diffusion around reflected ray in percent,

    • Gaussian angle in the incidence plane in degree,

    • Gaussian angle in the perpendicular plane in degree.

  • In transmission:

    • Specular transmitted ray in percent,

    • Lambertian diffusion around transmitted ray in percent,

    • Gaussian diffusion around transmitted ray in percent,

    • Gaussian angle in the incidence plane in degree,

    • Gaussian angle in the perpendicular plane in degree.

Note: Absorption is a self-calculating value.
Note: If needed, you can Add incidence or Delete incidence . If needed, you can Add wavelength or Delete wavelength .
Warning: For an incidence angle of 0°, the anisotropy is not considered. The reflection/transmission is isotropic. For an incidence angle of 0°, no incidence plane can be defined. The gaussian reflection/transmission angles are an average of the perpendicular and parallel gaussian angles.
