Filtering

In a noisy map, high values can appear and create white pixels.

With the Filtering option, you can remove these pixels.

  1. Click Creation, Filtering.

  2. Select Current file to remove the highest peaks on the opened file.

    -Or-

  3. Select Choose a file and browse a file to remove the highest peaks on another file.

  4. In the Number of passes box, set a number of passes.

  5. In the Threshold box, type the threshold value.

  6. Click OK.

If the pixel value is threshold times higher or lower than the average value of the neighbor pixels, a median filtering is applied to the pixel.
