Workaround or Solution
In some case, when using the Interpolation Enhancement tool, the distribution function may not be visible in the view. (TFS 914730)

The file RL_BlackLetter_PlasticPolicePlate.anisotropicbsdf from the ROAD LIBRARY FOR SENSORS SIMULATIONS library does not work correctly.

When light goes from air to transparent material through a coated surface, light behavior is correct.

When light goes from transparent material to air through a coated surface, light's behavior is the same as from air to transparent material, which is not physically correct.

  1. Create two coated surfaces:

    • One to simulate the light's behavior from air to transparent material.
    • One to simulate the light's behavior from transparent material to air.
  2. Create a .bsdf180 file using the two coated surfaces created.
  3. Apply the .bsdf180 file to the surfaces of the volume.
