Accessing the Windows HPC Cluster

  1. Open Speos Core.
  2. Click Speos HPC Cluster configuration .
  3. In the HPC configuration type, select Windows.
  4. In the Cluster details section, set the Maximum number of computing nodes, the Default number of computing nodes for simulations and the Maximum scheduler wall clock.

The Maximum scheduler wall clock corresponds to the time limit for a simulation to run on the cluster.

  5. In the Speos HPC folders section, set the three following folders:

    • Binary folder on the cluster

This folder corresponds to the folder where Speos HPC is installed.

    • Simulation folder on the cluster

This folder corresponds to the folder where the simulation data files are uploaded and the simulation results are downloaded.

When you open the .speos in Speos Core, .speos and the simulation data files are copied automatically in the Speos HPC simulation folder on the cluster you defined.

    • Simulation script templates folder

This folder corresponds to the folder where the simulation script templates are stored. Ask the IT for it.

For more information on the script configuration, refer to Speos HPC Installation Guide

  6. Click Check Cluster Connection.

To avoid re-configuring the cluster, Export the cluster configuration. The next time, Import the cluster configuration.
