Simulation Status Bar

The following page presents you the information related to simulation provided in the Status Bar.

  1. Number and model of GPU(s) in use
  2. Number of rays launched so far (in KRays/MRays/GRays/TRays, etc.).

While the Live Preview is running (meaning you have not paused it), the number of rays increases as the Live Preview is dynamic.

  3. Velocity: number of rays launched per second while the Live Preview is running.
  4. Time elapsed since the simulation start.

When the Live Preview is paused the time stops, and restarts as soon as you play the Live Preview.

  5. Current Sensor sampling (x*y resolution in px).

The sampling updates when you update the preview if you modified the parameters values.

  6. Current spectral sampling of the sensor (number of wavelengths, wavelength range in nm)

The spectral sampling appears only if it is defined in the sensor.

The sampling updates when you update the preview if you modified the parameters values.

  7. Selected sensor from the Sensor Panel.
