Beta Features

Speos latest release might contain several features in beta mode. This page describes the concept of beta feature and indicates how to enable the access to these features from Speos interface.

What is a Beta Feature?

Beta features are features that are still undergoing development and testing.

The primary purpose of "beta" labeling is to allow an early access to specific features that are close to being finalized.

Should I opt in or out?

Beta features' code and development are, for the most part, complete. Therefore they are operational and can be used/tested.

Keep in mind that these features are not 100% stable and that you could experience some issues like:
  • Incorrect values
  • Bugs, glitches or visual artifacts

How do I enable these Features?

Important: When the beta option is activated in a previous session, if you open a project in a session with the beta option deactivated, you must reactive the beta option to access beta parameters and beta features.

From Speos interface:

  1. Click File > Speos Options.
  2. From the left panel, click Advanced and check Enable beta features.
