Adjusting Display Properties

The Display Properties allows you to customize the viewer and the information displayed in it.

To adjust Display Properties:

  1. From the Design panel, right-click the optical lens feature and click Open viewer.
  2. In the 3D view, click a facet.
    Informations are displayed in the viewer.
  3. From the Feature Viewer, click to adjust the display properties.
  4. In Source Images and Beam Pattern, adjust the number of samples for U and V axes.
  5. Check Photometry to run an integrated simulation that generates a photometric preview displayed in the feature viewer, a HTML report and a XMP file of the selected element(s) of the feature.

    This will help you verify if your current design passes the regulation standards that you selected in the XML template parameter of the feature definition.

  6. Click Show Regulation if you want to open the HTML report of the simulation.
  7. To access grid parameters, right-click in the viewer and click Grid Parameters.
  8. Click User and define the step you want for the gridline for U and V axes.
The display properties are set and the modifications are taken into account in the viewer.
