Circular
The grid determines the size and distribution of the elements over the support.
Axis System
An axis system is required to define the elements' orientation and projection on the support.
This axis system is, by default, inherited from the support definition.
Note: If you define manually one axis only, the other axis is
automatically (and randomly) calculated by Speos in the 3D view. However, the other axis in the
Definition panel may not correspond to the axis in the 3D view. Please refer to the axis in the 3D
view.
Circular Grid
Note: Circular grid distribution is not compatible with Flute or Freeform beam type.
Elements are distributed according to a circular pattern. The following parameters can be set to customize this distribution:
Shift
- None
- Radial
- Circular
Grid Definition
- Start: Interior radius of the feature (mm).
- End: Exterior radius of the feature (mm).
- Step: Radial length of the elements (mm).
- Sectors: Number of angular subdivisions of the feature.
- Angle: Angle made by the sectors (deg).
- Shift: length (radial shift type) or angle (circular shift type) driving the elements distribution (in mm or deg).
