Histogram

The analysis displays a histogram of any data saved during a Monte Carlo tolerance run. This includes all tolerance operands, compensators, and reported operands from a tolerance script.

Tolerance Data File The name of the ZTD file to use. OpticStudio will look in the folder where the current lens is saved and list all files with the ZTD extension found there. If no file is selected, the histogram will default to the most recent tolerance run.

Operand The tolerance operand, compensator, or reported value to display against the criterion.

Bin Count This setting determines how many bins are used to span the range from minimum to maximum criterion.

Min Value The lowest criterion value. Results outside of this value will be summed up into one bar, representing all results less than the Min Value.

Max Value The highest criterion value. Results outside of this value will be summed up into one bar, representing all results greater than the Max Value.
