Sharing a custom search

You can share the URL of a saved custom search with other users.

Warning: When you share a custom search with another user, their search results may differ from yours. This could be due to any of the following reasons:
  • Data changes - including the addition or removal of databases, tables, folders, and records, as well as changes to data values.
  • Database schema changes - such as the removal of Attributes that are being used as search criteria.
  1. Navigate to the Custom Searches application to view a list of your saved custom searches.
  2. Click the Actions menu of the custom search you want to share, then click Copy link. The link will be copied to your clipboard.
  3. Share this URL with other Granta MI users.

    The search will open in MI Explore.

    Note: Shared custom searches can be modified by other users without affecting the original custom search. They can also be saved as a new custom search by clicking Save as.
