HyperMesh
HyperMesh identifies extensions using the environment variable
HWX_PLUGINS, which specifies a list of all folder locations that contain
HyperMesh extensions, as a semi-colon separated list.
The HyperMesh configuration is updated automatically when MI Materials Gateway is installed using the Setup Manager, but in a centralized deployment you need to carry out this step.
To configure HyperMesh:
Ensure that the
HWX_PLUGINS environment variable exists on
each HyperMesh client, and specify the full filepath of the HyperMesh
integration within the MI Materials Gateway installation folder.
- To define it at user level, add the filepath to the
HWX_PLUGINSenvironment variable, for each user on the client machine. - To define it at system level, add the filepath to the
HWX_PLUGINSenvironment variable at system level.
For example: in a default installation, the value of the
HWX_PLUGINS environment variable must include the following
filepath:
