Display short names of assignments

If a material, process, surface treatment, or color has a Short Name defined in the database, display this instead of the full name in the Assignments panel.

Applies to MI Materials Gateways for Creo, NX, Teamcenter, Windchill, and HyperMesh.

Include all versions of a record in 'Where used' results

This option is used to specify whether a 'Where Used' search will find all versions of the selected material, process, surface treatment, or color, or only the version currently displayed in MI Materials Gateway. For more details, see Finding where an assignment is used.

Applies to MI Materials Gateways for Teamcenter and Windchill.

Show multiple instances as separate items
When this option is selected, multiple instances of a component in an assembly are shown as separate items in the BoM on the Assignments panel.
Note: You cannot assign different data to instances of the same component, regardless of whether this option is selected.

Applies to MI Materials Gateways for Creo, NX, and Teamcenter.

Show NX sheet bodies When this option is selected, you can view sheet bodies on the Assignments page and assign data to them. Applies to MI Materials Gateways for NX and Teamcenter.
Note: This feature may not be available on your system.
Use default parameter values for material model import

When this option is selected, any CAE material models that require values for parameters (such as Temperature for a temperature-dependent model) will automatically be imported or assigned using the default parameter values specified in the database, provided all of the required data is available. If any data is unavailable, you can review the missing data and specify alternative parameter values.

Applies to MI Materials Gateways for Abaqus/CAE, ANSA, Ansys Electronics Desktop, Ansys Workbench, and HyperMesh.

Note: This feature may not be available on your system.
Always on top Always keep the MI Materials Gateway window on top of all other windows.
Hide secondary toolbars Hide toolbars with additional options that are also available from the context menu (for example, the toolbar for the Records panel in Favorites).
