Upgrading a Granta MI cluster

Follow these steps to upgrade the nodes in a Granta MI cluster to a new MI version.

  1. Stop the Granta MI service and Granta MI Selection service on the 2nd cluster node.
    Note: This will cause health checks on the load balancer pool to fail, until the node is upgraded and the services restarted (step 3).
  2. Upgrade Granta MI on the first node, following the MI upgrade procedure documented in the Granta MI installation documentation.
  3. Upgrade Granta MI on the 2nd node, following the same upgrade procedure.
    The Granta MI and Granta MI Selection services will automatically be restarted on this node after the components are upgraded.
