MI Materials Gateway settings

Settings that apply to the MI Materials Gateway plug-in for CAD, CAE, and PLM applications.

You might need to edit or create these settings when configuring defaults or optional features. For more information, see the installation and configuration documentation for MI Materials Gateway.

MiMaterialsGateway.BrowseTree.Filters

Specifies subsets that filter the records displayed in the Browse tree in MI Materials Gateway. You can modify this setting to add your own filters.

Important: When Granta MI is installed, it includes a pre-configured setting for MiMaterialsGateway.BrowseTree.Filters that filters the tables in the Restricted Substances and Sustainability Database.
  • If your Granta MI system includes Restricted Substances and Sustainability, you must not delete the existing pre-defined filters when modifying the setting.
  • When you upgrade Granta MI, your customized setting will be overwritten by the pre-configured value. Ensure that you keep a copy of your customized setting, so that you can restore it after upgrading.
