Files

Exporter configuration files, home page files, Attribute and Parameter help files, and Explore data view configuration files are all stored in the database schema.

Database home pages
Database home pages provide a user-friendly 'landing page' for databases in the MI Viewer application. You can manage database home page files on the Files > Home Pages tab in the MI Admin Schema tool.
Attribute Help pages
Attribute help pages provide usage notes or technical information about Attributes in that database. You can manage the Attribute help files for a database in MI Admin using Files > Help Pages.
Material card (FEA) exporter files
Material card exporters in MI Viewer and MI Explore use exporter configuration files that are stored in the database. You can manage exporter configuration files on the Files > Exporters tab in the MI Admin Schema tool.
MI Explore configuration files
MI Explore application configuration files are used to define different data views for MI Explore users. You can manage the available Explore configuration files on the Files > Configurations tab in the MI Admin Schema tool.
Adding or updating database files
You can add or update exporter configuration files, home page files, help files, or Explore data view configuration files, on the Files page in the MI Admin Schema tool.
Removing database files
To remove exporter configuration files, home page files, help files, or Explore data view configuration files, go to the Files page in the MI Admin Schema tool.
