You can view and manage the Access Control Categories in a database on the Access
Control Categories page in the MI Admin Schema tool.
Prerequisites:
Ensure that the required Discrete Types which will define the
permitted values already exist.
The Edit Access Control Categories link will only appear in
the Schema tool if Attribute-based Access Control has been enabled in your system in
MI Server Manager.
To view and manage Access Control Categories:

Open the MI Admin Schema tool and select the
database.

Click Edit Access Control Categories in the panel on the
left of the window.
The list shows all Access Control Categories currently defined in the
selected database.

Use the buttons below the list to edit or delete an Access Control Category, or
to add a new one.
Note that deleting an Access Control Category will not
delete any of the Discrete Attributes to which it is mapped in the database Tables. To
remove these, you will need to delete the associated Attributes individually from each
Table.
