Editing materials in MI Explore

If you only need to edit the data for a single material, you can open the datasheet for that material and make your changes.

  1. In MI Explore, find the material and double-click it to open the datasheet.
  2. Click Edit.
  3. Enter the required values then click Save.
Note: Any changes you make to Preferred Materials will not be visible to CAD and CAE users in MI Materials Gateway immediately. See Communicating changes to other users.
