All geometric models that you create are a collection of objects. These objects are drawn at the Layout Editor. The Ansys Electronics Desktop (AEDT)TM electronics systems design platform allows you to draw on all three primitive layer types (i.e., dielectric, signal, and negative signal). Objects on dielectric layers are ignored in Planar EM modeling, but are displayed and exported in HFSS 3D Layout.
