Working in Drawing Mode

Drawing Mode options are located in the Draw Geometry section of the Home tab.

The draw box contains elements you can draw:

The radio buttons allow you to decide which option to apply when drawing two or more geometric shapes:

• Add (No Merge) – draws and displays multiple objects.
• Merge – draws and displays multiple objects as one merged object.
• Subtract – modifies an existing geometry by cutting a selected shape from it.

The options on the right apply to vias, traces, and extents.
