Drawing Extents

Extents define the area in which you can place components.

To define extents:

1. Click Home.
2. From the Draw Geometry section, click the Polygonal Extent () or Rectangular Extent () icon.
3. Draw the area.

The Modeling workspace is modified according to the values selected.

You can also automatically generate extents around your design by clicking the Automatic Extent () icon.
